"Fire Your Excuses" Presentation (Orange County)

Today, according to Internet Live Stats, there are more than 1 billion websites registered and 60 trillion emails sent since New Year’s Day. Just five years ago, there were 555 million websites. Give this explosion in communication, how can health care professionals and practitioners expect to continue to be heard when their staff, patients and colleagues are bombarded with messages at a rate unprecedented in human history? And, equally important, how has digital communication impacted your own communication skills?

In this workshop we will uncover the immutable ways humans best receive communication as well as teach communication skills tailored for today’s modern audience. Like the irony of dying of thirst on the ocean, the busy healthcare provider can easily be silenced despite multiple new ways to reach out to the people they wish to serve. In turn, those who learn the lingua franca of the new age can enjoy a level of impact never imagined in the 20th century.

Note: For the maximum benefit, it is suggested that attendees take the free Fire Your Excuses Self-Assessment at www.fireyourexcuses.com before the presentation.
