The Anatomy of a Lawsuit / What Physicians Should Know to Avoid Liability (OCMA)

The Orange County Medical Association (OCMA) and the Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc. (CAP) are pleased to invite you to a physician wellness event entitled Anatomy of a Lawsuit / What Physicians Should Know to Avoid Liability.

This two-part presentation addresses the systems and communication deficiencies that create malpractice risk exposure and can result in a lawsuit. The first portion of the program will provide the learner with practical strategies for improving patient care and reducing risk. The second half of the presentation describes the lawsuit process, the do’s and don’ts of litigation and real life case studies.

This presentation is free to members of OCMA and CAP. Register online or by calling Holly Appelbaum at 949-398-8100, extension 106.

The fee for nonmember physicians is $50. However, be one of the first 10 to RSVP to CAP and attend for free regardless of membership. To RSVP, please call 800-361-5569 or email RSVP@CAPphysicians.com by September 14.
