Cooperative of American Physicians Announces “Hearts for Hope 2013” Campaign

CAP Provides Ongoing Support for City of Hope’s Research and Treatment Efforts

Los Angeles, CA – February 15, 2013 – The Cooperative of American Physicians (CAP) is proud to announce its ongoing commitment to the City of Hope’s staff, patients, and their families, who have long occupied a special place in the company’s corporate heart. From February 4-14, CAP conducted the “Hearts for Hope 2013” campaign to support City of Hope’s pioneering research that has brought the world closer to cures for many life-threatening diseases, from cancer to diabetes.

During the campaign, CAP employees were asked honor a friend or family member, to write their name on a heart, add it to CAP’s Hearts for Hope poster, and to place $1 in the donation box. On February 14, CAP sent the posters and the donations to City of Hope as part of CAP’s continued support for City of Hope’s research and treatment efforts.

“CAP is honored to assist City of Hope and the medical community to eradicate disease,” said Carole Lambert, MPA, RN., Manager, Membership Review and Education, who is responsible for the development of the CAP “Hearts for Hope 2013” campaign. “We strongly encourage our staff to be good corporate citizens and to help support such committed and driven centers like City of Hope.”
