CAP has partnered with Medical Memory to offer CAP members resources to support the physician-patient relationship and meet the challenges of achieving effective communication among all members of the healthcare team.

In the process of implementing MIPS, a major point of contention was how burdensome the requirements would be on solo and small group physicians and, as a result of the strong push back, HHS and CMS have made continuous changes to help alleviate the burden and make minimum requirements accessible. 

Officials at the Office for Civil Rights have gone on record stating, “there are two types of medical practices out there – those who know they’ve been breached, and those who don’t know it yet."
