A law in California — the Healthy Workplace Healthy Family Act of 2014 (AB 1522) — will mandate that employers provide sick leave to employees who have worked on or after January 1, 2015.

While many think of a doctor's office as a place of healing and not a place of business, it is still subject to the same posting requirements as every other California workplace.
