Office Practice Resources

CAP provides a 24/7 Hotline to assist members with reporting and/or obtaining information related to such activities as notice of intent to sue and general risk management and patient safety guidance. The dedicated number of 1-800-252-0555 offers three options to select from to expedite response to your call: 1) to report a notice of intent, law suit or 90 day notice 2) to obtain routine risk management advice on how to respond to a subpoena for records or terminating care 3) for immediate assistance with an adverse patient outcome. The resources listed below have provided answers to many of the frequently asked questions by CAP members when calling the Hotline.
