LOS ANGELES, February 20, 2020 – Sarah Scher, CEO of the Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc. (CAP), will be a featured presenter at the 59th Annual Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons of California (OPSC) Conference today at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa in Coronado, California.
Ms. Scher’s presentation, delivered from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., will address “Electronic Health Records (EHR): Professional Liability Trends and Risk Reduction Strategies.” In addition to Ms. Scher’s talk, CAP will also have a booth onsite in the exhibit hall to engage with attendees.
“Advancing health information technology should be a net-positive for patient care, but along with tech advancement come certain challenges,” said Ms. Scher. “The goal of this presentation is to help healthcare providers recognize some of these challenges and adjust and adapt quickly in order to lower the potential risk to patients and related risk to themselves.”
